| Coconut,
the main agricultural product of Kerala is an inevitable ingredient
of a Malayali’s diet. Coconut is seldom used for edible purpose
outside Kerala. The main use of coconut and its products are for industrial
purposes. Since the edible use of coconut is minimal , the coconut
market is controlled by the north Indian industries A Malayali’s
diet without coconut is incomplete. A Malayali longs for his favorite
food wherever he may be. It is very difficult to transport coconut
